How to use the adapter

  • Locate the SGW module in the vehicle.
  • Disconnect the two connectors from the SGW.
  • Connect the connectors to the adapter.
  • Perform diagnostics or programming.
  • Once complete, disconnect the adapter and reconnect the original connectors to the SGW.
  • Compatible with FCA vehicles with 12+8 wiring, but not with 2021+ models where the SGW is integrated into the BCM.
  • The location of the SGW may vary by vehicle model.
